Spring (Apr–May)
Meadows in Full Bloom
Betaab Valley and Aru Valley burst with wildflowers. The Lidder River is at its most scenic. Ideal for photography, trekking, and pony rides through blooming meadows.
Summer (Jun–Aug)
Trekking & River Rafting
Perfect weather for the Kolahoi Glacier trek and Lidder River rafting. Baisaran (Mini Switzerland) is at its greenest. Amarnath Yatra pilgrims pass through in July.
Autumn (Sep–Oct)
Golden Valley Views
The pine forests turn golden-amber. Fewer crowds than summer. Crisp mountain air makes trekking exceptionally pleasant. Photography conditions are outstanding.
Winter (Nov–Mar)
Snow-Covered Valleys
Pahalgam wears a white blanket. Most hotels close but a few remain open for snow enthusiasts. The valley is hauntingly beautiful and completely peaceful.
